Maritime – Dry Dock Planning Platform
End-to-end digital platform that improves office to field communication, reduces delays, and strengthens cost control in large-scale operations.
Digital Platform for Dry Dock Planning and Monitoring
We have developed a custom platform that provides end-to-end support for the planning, execution, and monitoring of Dry Dock projects across large vessel fleets. Designed to serve both office personnel and on-site superintendents, the solution integrates desktop and mobile tools into a single environment, enabling seamless collaboration and real-time visibility into all stages of the Dry Dock process.
Through the desktop platform, users can compile and manage the Works List, send and track RFQs, monitor project progress, compare estimated versus actual costs, generate reports, and maintain historical records for future reference. In parallel, the mobile app empowers superintendents to report work progress and costs, upload supporting documents and photos, and introduce new work items directly from the shipyard. All inputs from the app automatically update the central database, ensuring that office personnel have immediate access to accurate, up-to-date information.
By unifying these functions into one environment, the platform ensures more efficient project management, eliminates delays caused by manual reporting, and reduces the risk of overcharges. It also builds a structured historical record of all Dry Dock activities, strengthening long-term planning and cost control.
The platform also includes advanced features such as task dependency mapping, automated estimation of costs and material requirements, and integrated spare parts management linked to inventory. These enhancements will further increase efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and provide a comprehensive view of project workflows across the fleet.
This case demonstrates how the platform transforms the traditionally complex and fragmented Dry Dock process into a streamlined, transparent, and data-driven operation—delivering measurable efficiency gains and cost savings at fleet scale.
